Description of HGL

Introduction

Hydrocarbon Gas Liquids (HGL) are gas or liquid hydrocarbon compounds, derived from the processing of natural gas or the refining of crude oil. Most exist as gases at normal temperature and atmospheric pressure, or they can be liquefied by cooling. Most HGL comes from natural gas, as shown in the chart below.
